What are 8K, 16K, and 25K Planner Sizes? How Big Are They?
Commonly used specifications include 16K, 18K, 25K, 32K, and 48K, representing the number of cuts from a full sheet of paper. The dimensions vary slightly depending on the binding method or cover type used.
The finished size of an A4 is 21 * 29.7 cm. The exact size can be achieved using a full sheet of kikuban paper with eight impositions.
16K are 19 x 26 cm, trimmed to about 18.8 x 25.8 cm, making the overall size close to A4, considered as B5 size.
18K are 18 x 26 cm, trimmed to about 17 x 25 cm.
25K are 15 x 21 cm, trimmed to about 14.5 x 20.5 cm, making the overall size about half of A4, akin to A5 size.
32K are 13 x 19 cm, trimmed to about 12.4 x 18 cm, akin to B6 size.
48K are 10 x 18 cm, trimmed to about 9.5 x 17.5 cm, making the overall size about one-third of A4, also called a pocketbook.

Notebook:
Any book that can be used for writing, regardless of its binding method, is generally called a notebook.
Planner:
It usually contains dated material, which may cover the current year or span multiple years. It might include monthly planning grids, weekly logs, or daily pages.
Business Planner:
Tailored to the needs of businesses and professionals, it often includes business information in the last few pages, such as volume conversion charts, metro maps, international dialing codes, and time differences, commonly in a binder format for easy page replacement.
Diary:
Typically features lined, gridded, or dotted pages, not limited by date restrictions.
